The map pack
is the front page.
For most Billings service businesses, the three map results above the regular listings get the clicks and the phone calls. Google picks them mostly on how relevant your profile is, how close you are to the person searching, and how much trust your business has built up through reviews and consistent listings.
Billings is spread out. A search from Lockwood and a search from the Shiloh corridor can return different results for the same phrase, so it pays to be clear about the areas you serve, both on your Google Business Profile and on your website.
We are a Billings studio that hand-codes websites, so the on-page side is something we do directly instead of handing it to a plugin. If you need a new site, see the one-page build. If your site is fine and you only need local SEO, that works too.
The local SEO work
Google Business Profile
Categories, services, hours, service area, photos, and a description that says plainly what you do in Billings. We also set up a routine for posts and Q&A so the profile does not go stale.
Local pack visibility
We look at who shows up in the map pack for your main searches and why, then work on the gaps: relevance, reviews, and how well your site backs up the profile.
On-page SEO
Titles, headings, page speed, internal links, and LocalBusiness schema, written into the code. Service pages for the work you actually want more of.
Reviews
A simple way to ask happy customers for a Google review, plus help writing replies. We never buy or fake reviews.
Citations and NAP
Your name, address, and phone number should match everywhere: Google, Apple Maps, Bing, Yelp, Facebook, and local directories. We find the mismatches and clean them up.
Plain reporting
What changed, what we did, and what calls and clicks came from Google, in a short note you can read in a couple of minutes.
What clients wrote
"Blaze Digital Design recently built a website for us. Zaylyn is amazing to work with. He has been able to customize our website with all the features we have asked him to include and continues to work with us as we request more customization to meet the needs of our members and leaders. He also has additional services such as live streaming training for our members and then creating YouTube videos of the training that we are able to include on our website for our members to view in the future whenever they need to. Impressive designer and great guy to work with!"
"Beat dicesion ive ever made hiring this company. I tried a few others before but then I had to redo it several times. These guys got it right first try and it was quick too. Theyre definitely on speed dial now. Highly recommend. Would hire again. 10/10"
"High quality design and easy to work with. Would absolutely recommend."
Common questions
How much does local SEO cost in Billings?
Local SEO is quoted for your scope after a free strategy call, because a new profile with no reviews needs different work than an established business that slipped in the map pack. Our only published web price is the $500 one-page build.
How long until I see results in the map pack?
It depends on your category, your competition, and where your profile starts. Fixes like wrong categories or mismatched listings can help fairly quickly, while reviews and authority build over months. We will not promise a ranking or a date.
Do I need a new website for local SEO?
Not always. If your current site loads quickly and lets us edit titles, content, and schema, we can work with it. If it is slow or locked into a builder, a rebuild is often the better spend.
I work from home. Can I still show up in Billings searches?
Yes. Google lets service area businesses hide their street address and list the areas they serve instead. We set that up so you can show for Billings and nearby towns without publishing your home address.
Do you work with businesses outside Billings?
Yes. We work with businesses in Laurel, Lockwood, Shepherd, Huntley, Columbus, and the rest of Yellowstone County, and take remote-friendly projects across Montana.
