01 / Understand the situation
What may be getting in the way
A browser action does not prove an inbox received the lead. The problem could be an endpoint, mail authentication, spam filtering, an obsolete recipient or a provider limit. Logs help, but must not expose customer messages or credentials publicly.
02 / Start here
Concrete first steps
- Submit a labelled test from a customer browser. Record the response and check the intended inbox, spam folder and form provider dashboard.
- Confirm the recipient and sending method. Check approved SPF, DKIM and DMARC settings without deleting records needed by other senders.
- Test validation and failure handling. A blocked request must not show success. Provide a phone or email fallback on the page.
03 / The work
How Blaze can help
Blaze can trace the submission path, repair the handler or delivery configuration and add appropriate anti-spam controls. A durable lead record may protect against temporary mail failures. We agree on retention and access rather than saving customer information indefinitely just because storage is available.
See website, search and workflow services, or tell us what is happening so we can scope the right work before quoting.
04 / Check the result
What to verify before calling it done
Verify valid submissions, invalid fields, provider errors and spam handling. The final test is receipt by the person responsible for responding, with enough context to answer and no personal details leaking into analytics.
Questions you may still have
Before you decide
Does a thank-you page prove delivery?
No. It may only mean the browser submitted something. We verify the server response and actual delivery.
Should we disable spam protection?
Not as a blanket fix. Test whether it blocks legitimate users and choose controls balancing access with abuse prevention.
Can we keep a backup of inquiries?
Where appropriate, yes. Decide storage, permissions, retention and privacy information before collecting the data.
