    Know a business owner who needs a website? Pass along their name and number, or send them your link. That is the whole job.

    Get paid

    Z talks to them, quotes, builds, and collects payment. About 7 days after the customer pays, you get paid by Venmo or Stripe.

What counts as a good referral

  • Local service businesses in Billings and around Montana: contractors, roofers, plumbers, landscapers, cleaners, salons, auto shops, food trucks
  • No website at all, or just a Facebook page
  • A site that looks old, breaks on phones, or nobody can find on Google
  • An owner who is open to a quick call with Z

Not a fit

  • Big chains or franchises with corporate sites
  • Your own business (ask Z directly instead)
  • Cold lists or names you pulled off Google with no connection

Referral program questions

Is this a job?

No. You are an independent referral partner, not an employee or contractor of Blaze. There are no hours, quotas, or schedule. You refer when it makes sense and get paid when a referral turns into a paying customer.

Do I have to sell anything?

No. You do not sell, quote prices, or take payments. You make an introduction and Z handles the conversation, the quote, the build, and the billing.

How much do I get paid?

A flat $100 for each website build that closes and gets paid, plus 10% of the first 3 months if the customer signs up for a monthly plan. This is commission only. If a referral does not buy, there is no payout, and results vary from person to person.

When and how do I get paid?

About 7 days after the customer pays Blaze, by Venmo or Stripe. You can see where each referral stands in your partner dashboard.

How long does a referral count?

90 days from when you send it. If the business signs up in that window, it is yours.

Do I need to live in Billings?

No. Billings is home base, but referrals from anywhere in Montana work. Z meets clients by phone and video, so the business does not have to be in town.

What about taxes?

Payouts are not taxed by Blaze. If you earn $600 or more in a calendar year, Z will ask for a W-9 so a 1099 can be filed, as the IRS requires. Talk to a tax pro about your own situation.

Is there a cost to join?

No. It is free to sign up and there is nothing to buy. If anyone asks you to pay to join, it is not us.
